At St George’s you’ll find a warm, welcoming and caring community. Each week we encounter God in the Bible. You are welcome to join us any Sunday at our 7:30am, 9:30am or 6.00pm Services.

Our Services

We run three church services each Sunday and visitors are always welcome. Read about our church services below, or plan a visit - we’d love to have you! Morning tea/supper is served in the hall at the conclusion of all our services so please stay for coffee and a chat!

7:30am

Traditional prayer book service

Our 7:30am service is an Anglican Prayer Book Service with weekly communion and traditional hymns accompanied by our organist. Tea and toast is served in the hall after church, all are welcome. We meet in the beautiful St George’s building on Chapman Rd, Bluff Point.

9:30am

contemporary Family service

Our 9:30am service is a contemporary service with Sunday School and Creche. Tea, coffee and morning tea is served after church with the playground open for children to enjoy. We meet in our newly refurbished St George’s Hall.

6:00pm

contemporary Evening service

Our 6:00pm gathering is a contemporary service that meets on Sunday Evenings. We are a small but growing group of Christians who enjoy hearing great Bible teaching and contemporary music. We meet in St George’s Hall

Our Programs

There’s lots happening during the week at St George’s! Our programs serve all demographics and stages of life. We love being able to serve and support our community with practical help, care and connection, and the life-giving words of Jesus.

 

Play Time

A volunteer-run weekly play group for pre-school aged children held every Monday morning, with time for free-play, craft, messy activities and a music session.
 

Table of Grace

A free lunch every Friday prepared by volunteers, including a short message about God’s grace to us.
 

The Cottage

A volunteer-run op-shop with clothes, furniture and household items, serving our community with low-cost items and a friendly chat.
